Together we can make a difference.
Formed in 2011 by A Total Woman, and consisting of dedicated family members, devoted friends, and our generous customers, The CLEAVAGE CREW was initially assembled to help in the struggle to make breast cancer a fleeting memory.
Having been assisting women with post-mastectomy devices, bras and swimwear for over twenty years, we’re aware that this is a service that can and will eventually be unnecessary for future generations if we do something about it now. Therefore, we are committed to raising breast cancer awareness, prompting women to check themselves regularly, and participating in local charity events to help raise money for much needed research.
We are committed to participating in two races per year; the Susan G. Komen Orange County Race for the Cure held in Newport Beach in September, and the EIF/Revlon Run/Walk taking place in Los Angeles in May. With each subsequent event we hope to build a larger team of participants and fundraisers, and spread awareness wherever possible.
As well, the Cleavage Crew is always on the lookout for ways in each we can give back to the community that has been so generous to us over the years. In 2011 A Total Woman donated over 200 custom-fit bras to a local women’s shelter, helping these victims of domestic violence take their first steps toward a new, independent life, by providing one of many simple necessities. We also regularly visit local seniors centers to perform fittings for Seniors; and hold private parties for Mommy and Me organizations to educate women about proper fittings and over-all breast health.
If you’d like to join our efforts, receive information on our next event or have an idea or donation, we’d so love to speak with you. Together we can make a difference. Give us a call or stop by the store.
